A decis\u00e3o foi formalizada no dia 18 de junho de 2024, em e-mail enviado por Luiz Ricardo Alves, o Seedorf, ent\u00e3o diretor-adjunto financeiro do clube. A mensagem foi obtida pelo <em>ge<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gaveanews.com\/index.php\/2024\/11\/27\/corinthians-define-proposta-para-quitar-dividas\/\">Corinthians define proposta para quitar d\u00edvidas<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gaveanews.com\/index.php\/2024\/11\/27\/emerson-sheik-faz-previsao-sobre-o-futuro-do-corinthians\/\">Emerson Sheik faz previs\u00e3o sobre o futuro do Corinthians<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A EY havia sido contratada inicialmente para reestruturar as \u00e1reas financeira e administrativa do clube, mas, em maio, foi acionada para uma investiga\u00e7\u00e3o forense espec\u00edfica sobre o contrato com a VaideBet. A apura\u00e7\u00e3o se concentrava em um repasse de R$ 25 milh\u00f5es em comiss\u00e3o para a Rede Social Media Design, empresa de Alex Cassund\u00e9, aliado do presidente Augusto Melo. A Pol\u00edcia Civil tamb\u00e9m abriu inqu\u00e9rito para investigar poss\u00edveis empresas de fachada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No entanto, a diretoria do Corinthians decidiu interromper a investiga\u00e7\u00e3o interna. O e-mail de Seedorf determinava a suspens\u00e3o de &#8220;todo e qualquer trabalho em andamento&#8221;. A decis\u00e3o teria sido tomada ap\u00f3s reuni\u00e3o com Augusto Melo e outros diretores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Embora o clube n\u00e3o tenha esclarecido oficialmente o motivo da suspens\u00e3o, fontes ligadas ao caso apontam descontentamento de membros da diretoria com a investiga\u00e7\u00e3o. Vinicius Cascone, ent\u00e3o secret\u00e1rio-geral, afirmou que a suspens\u00e3o foi recomenda\u00e7\u00e3o do departamento jur\u00eddico, com apoio do presidente do Conselho Deliberativo, Romeu Tuma J\u00fanior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Foi uma orienta\u00e7\u00e3o do diretor jur\u00eddico da \u00e9poca, acatada pelo presidente. O Conselho tamb\u00e9m se mostrava insatisfeito com o contrato&#8221;, disse Cascone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Leonardo Pantale\u00e3o, diretor de neg\u00f3cios jur\u00eddicos, citou o alto custo do servi\u00e7o como fator determinante:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;N\u00e3o fazia sentido pagar por algo que a pol\u00edcia j\u00e1 estava investigando de gra\u00e7a.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tuma tamb\u00e9m criticou a compatibilidade t\u00e9cnica da EY para realizar investiga\u00e7\u00f5es:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Adverti que a empresa n\u00e3o tinha o CNAE adequado para o servi\u00e7o.
