Atl\u00e9tico-MG anuncia sa\u00edda de Erasmo Damiani e promete reformula\u00e7\u00e3o na base<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

O Atl\u00e9tico-MG comunicou nesta quinta-feira o desligamento de Erasmo Damiani, gerente geral das categorias de base. Damiani estava no cargo desde fevereiro de 2021, quando foi contratado ap\u00f3s seu trabalho na Sele\u00e7\u00e3o Brasileira de base.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Com passagens por Palmeiras e Internacional, Damiani foi um dos respons\u00e1veis pela estrutura\u00e7\u00e3o da base atleticana nos \u00faltimos anos, buscando aprimorar processos, melhorar a estrutura e fortalecer a inicia\u00e7\u00e3o dos jovens atletas. Ele havia assumido o posto deixado por J\u00fanior Ch\u00e1vare e, durante sua gest\u00e3o, trabalhou na transi\u00e7\u00e3o de talentos para o profissional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O clube agradeceu Damiani pelos servi\u00e7os prestados e destacou que mudan\u00e7as est\u00e3o sendo feitas no departamento de futebol. Paulo Bracks, novo CSO do Atl\u00e9tico, j\u00e1 havia sinalizado a necessidade de uma reformula\u00e7\u00e3o na base, apontando que o clube precisa recuperar o protagonismo na forma\u00e7\u00e3o de jogadores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMinha forma\u00e7\u00e3o inicia na base. Nos clubes que trabalhei, a base foi tratada com muita proximidade, de perto. E aqui n\u00e3o vai ser diferente. Penso na base com tr\u00eas pilares: capta\u00e7\u00e3o, transi\u00e7\u00e3o de atletas ao profissional e valoriza\u00e7\u00e3o dos ativos. Se formos para a Europa, nos grandes clubes, vamos encontrar s\u00f3 o Savinho (formado pelo Galo) em grandes clubes. Isso \u00e9 pouco para o Atl\u00e9tico. O resultado precisa ser melhorado\u201d, afirmou Bracks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O dirigente refor\u00e7ou a necessidade de mudan\u00e7as estruturais e defendeu um projeto de longo prazo para retomar a for\u00e7a do Atl\u00e9tico-MG na forma\u00e7\u00e3o de talentos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
