Conforme informa\u00e7\u00f5es divulgas pelo ‘GE’, o clube desembolsar\u00e1 cerca de R$ 100 milh\u00f5es pelo atleta, sendo US$ 15 milh\u00f5es (R$ 85,6 milh\u00f5es) fixos e mais US$ 2 milh\u00f5es (R$ 11,4 milh\u00f5es) em metas ao New York City FC, dos Estados Unidos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Embora atue no lado esquerdo do setor ofensivo, Santi Rodr\u00edguez apresenta caracter\u00edsticas mais pr\u00f3ximas \u00e0s de um meia criativo. Ele iniciou sua trajet\u00f3ria como armador no Nacional do Uruguai, mas foi adaptado aos flancos durante sua passagem pela Major League Soccer (MLS). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante suas atua\u00e7\u00f5es, alternava posicionamento com Maxi Moralez, meia-atacante da equipe, surgindo tanto pelos lados quanto pelo centro do campo.
