O Gr\u00eamio avan\u00e7ou para renovar o contrato do atacante dinamarqu\u00eas Martin Braithwaite at\u00e9 o fim de 2027. O jogador est\u00e1 no Imortal desde o meio do ano passado e seu v\u00ednculo iria at\u00e9 junho de 2026. A informa\u00e7\u00e3o foi divulgada inicialmente pela TNT Sports e em seguida confirmada pelo\u00a0ge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A diretoria do Tricolor ga\u00facho confirmou que existe a conversa internamente com o jogador e tamb\u00e9m confirmou que est\u00e1 avan\u00e7ada. At\u00e9 aqui nesta temporada, Braithwaite j\u00e1 marcou seis gols e deu uma assist\u00eancia em oito jogos disputados pelo Imortal. Al\u00e9m do bom desempenho, o atacante \u00e9 um l\u00edder no vesti\u00e1rio e \u00e9 elogiado por sua postura. Com isso, os dirigentes do clube quiseram antecipar sua renova\u00e7\u00e3o. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Martin Braithwaite chegou ao Gr\u00eamio em agosto do ano passado, e em sua estreia marcou duas vezes, na vit\u00f3ria sobre o Cuiab\u00e1 por 3 a 1. No total, s\u00e3o 14 gols marcados e tr\u00eas assist\u00eancias realizadas em 28 jogos disputados com a camisa gremista. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

O Gr\u00eamio acertou a chegada de Braithwaite ap\u00f3s mais de um ano de observa\u00e7\u00e3o. Ainda na \u00e9poca em que Su\u00e1rez estava no clube, o Tricolor passou a monitorar o centroavante como uma poss\u00edvel alternativa no mercado para reposi\u00e7\u00e3o, o que se concretizou oito meses ap\u00f3s a sa\u00edda do uruguaio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Martin Braithwaite foi revelado nas categorias de base do Esbjerg fB, da Dinamarca. Como profissional, o atacante ainda passou por Toulouse e Bordeaux, ambos da Fran\u00e7a, Middlesbrough, da Inglaterra, Legan\u00e9s, Espanyol e Barcelona, da Espanha. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Foi no Toulouse onde Braithwaite mais jogou, com 149 partidas no total, marcando 40 gols e dando 15 assist\u00eancias. O que menos jogou foi o Bordeaux, com apenas 14 partidas, quatro gols e tr\u00eas assist\u00eancias. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
