Apresentador e narrador dos canais ESPN, do grupo Disney, ele marcou \u00e9poca no SportsCenter ao lado de Antero Greco.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/admin.cnnbrasil.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2025\/09\/Amigao-e1759142093103.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>A informa\u00e7\u00e3o foi confirmada pelo jornalista Alex Tseng, colega de emissora, nas redes sociais nesta manh\u00e3. Ainda n\u00e3o h\u00e1 nenhuma informa\u00e7\u00e3o oficialmente confirmada sobre a causa. O vel\u00f3rio ocorre das 13 \u00e0s 17 horas (hor\u00e1rio de Bras\u00edlia), no Funeral Home, na Bela Vista, Centro de S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ele estava internado h\u00e1 meses no Hospital S\u00edrio-Liban\u00eas, no Centro da capital paulista. Desde 2023, convivia com problemas na coluna e passou por cirurgias. Em maio deste ano, foi internado em recupera\u00e7\u00e3o de uma cirurgia na coluna vertebral. Amig\u00e3o completou 63 anos em 13 de setembro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Com quase tr\u00eas d\u00e9cadas dedicadas \u00e0 ESPN, Amig\u00e3o consagrou a dupla com Antero Greco na edi\u00e7\u00e3o de fim de noite do SportsCenter. A dupla conquistou o p\u00fablico com irrever\u00eancia e qu\u00edmica no ar. Em maio de 2024, Antero faleceu em decorr\u00eancia de um tumor no c\u00e9rebro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A trajet\u00f3ria profissional de Paulo Soares come\u00e7ou em fevereiro de 1978, quando ele atuou como narrador aos 15 anos. Sua forma\u00e7\u00e3o no r\u00e1dio incluiu passagens por Globo, Bandeirantes, Record e Gazeta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Na televis\u00e3o, ele estreou em 1993 pela TV Cultura. Teve passagens por SBT e TV Gazeta. Nos canais ESPN, consolidou a carreira e apresentou Linha de Passe, Bola da Vez, Futebol no Mundo e o SportsCenter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No curr\u00edculo, Amig\u00e3o participou da cobertura de 11 Copas do Mundo e nove Jogos Ol\u00edmpicos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Paulo Soares n\u00e3o tinha filhos e deixa a companheira Marlene.
