Cleiton ficou conhecido por sua parceria com Luiz Henrique, ex-atacante do Botafogo<\/a> e atualmente no Zenit. O trabalho come\u00e7ou em junho do ano passado. Neste ano, ele tamb\u00e9m iniciou o servi\u00e7o com Artur, substituto de Luiz Henrique no Alvinegro. Al\u00e9m de Wallace, o coach acompanha Joshua e Pedro Le\u00e3o, destaques das categorias de base rubro-negras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ao UOL, Cleiton descreveu sua rotina e prometeu presen\u00e7a constante no suporte ao jovem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Eu costumo dizer que entrego minha vida para o atleta 24 horas. Continuo com o Luiz Henrique e hoje converso com ele de maneira online, procuro ter um feedback para saber como foi o dia e como andam as metas. A mesma coisa vai ser feita com o Wallace, sendo que vou estar mais pr\u00f3ximo dele no dia a dia. Serei um ponto de apoio”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Em outra entrevista recente, o coach falou sobre a competitividade do atleta e o foco em treinar respostas emocionais para momentos decisivos. “\u00c9 vontade de vencer. O atleta competitivo quer ganhar, quer estar ali o tempo inteiro”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Se n\u00e3o tiver um treino para lidar com essas situa\u00e7\u00f5es, ele s\u00f3 vai reagindo. O objetivo \u00e9 fazer o atleta ter consci\u00eancia das emo\u00e7\u00f5es e control\u00e1-las. \u00c9 sobre transformar energia em equil\u00edbrio”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O momento vem ap\u00f3s epis\u00f3dios de comportamento que chamaram aten\u00e7\u00e3o dentro de campo. A elimina\u00e7\u00e3o para o Atl\u00e9tico-MG, na Copa do Brasil, foi um dos epis\u00f3dios. O recente jogo contra o Bahia, no qual o atacante foi expulso com apenas 10 minutos em campo, tamb\u00e9m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
