John Textor, dono da SAF do Botafogo, contestou informa\u00e7\u00f5es rec\u00e9m divulgadas pelo portal UOL sobre uma suposta disputa pelo controle da Eagle Football – holding que administra a opera\u00e7\u00e3o do clube.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por meio de suas redes sociais, o empres\u00e1rio norte-americano afirmou que a mat\u00e9ria apresenta informa\u00e7\u00f5es \u201cem grande parte imprecisas\u201d e garantiu que a disputa societ\u00e1ria chegou ao fim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A reportagem mencionava certa resist\u00eancia dos acionistas da Eagle em encerrar o processo judicial que envolvia o controle do grupo. O texto citava ainda uma tentativa de reduzir os poderes de Textor nas decis\u00f5es relacionadas \u00e0 SAF do Botafogo, exigindo a participa\u00e7\u00e3o direta de Christopher Mallon, diretor independente da empresa, nas delibera\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Textor, por sua vez, negou que haja conflito em andamento e refor\u00e7ou que permanece com a maioria acion\u00e1ria. \u201cFalso, porque a disputa acabou e n\u00e3o h\u00e1 luta pelo controle\u201d, escreveu em seu perfil no Instagram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ele tamb\u00e9m declarou: \u201cNunca perdi o controle das minhas a\u00e7\u00f5es. Continuo sendo o acionista majorit\u00e1rio da Eagle Football Holdings, com a maioria dos assentos no conselho, empresa que det\u00e9m a Eagle MIDCO, da qual sou o \u00fanico diretor e que \u00e9 acionista de 100% da Eagle BIDCO\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Segundo ele, a rela\u00e7\u00e3o com Mallon \u00e9 boa e os dois mant\u00eam entendimento quanto \u00e0s responsabilidades de cada parte dentro da estrutura societ\u00e1ria.
